Monday Munchies

The Carlyle Apartment Homes  My Monday Dinner... My Dinner.  After a long, fun, interesting weekend cooking dinner on a Monday night is one of the few things that I know will help relax me a little. Every night I try and cook something different for dinner, to switch things up and keep my taste buds in check. I cook meals ranging from steak, to baked potatoes, to just mac and cheese. No matter the dish, I always love it. I seem to be loving new things so I am making sure to spice things up a bit. Well, tonight was kind of plain. All I made was barbecue chicken and broccoli. A little boring, but it went a long way.  Giant First, I make the barbecue chicken. How I do this is by purchasing chicken at the Giant located on 1020 W 41st Street Baltimore, MD 21211 and I buy thin sliced chicken breasts. I do not like to have thick chicken or big cut slices so I slice my chicken into extremely small pieces. After my chicken is cut into the perfect shape and size I then put my...

A Beautiful Day

The Woodberry  A Wonderful Day Spent With Friends Apartments It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon that was spent with friends. All of my friends live off of campus rather than on campus at Loyola, some live at the Woodberry. The Woodberry could possibly be one of the nicest apartment homes I have seen thus far in Baltimore. They have many outdoor areas, but the area we chose was with the grills and tables.  It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon for a barbecue. So, that is what we did. The guys bought meat and cooked them perfectly. The guys made ribs, burgers, hot dogs and chicken. It was all amazing. The girls on the other hand brought all of the "bird food." We made buffalo chicken dip, penne alla vodka, fruit salad, bean and corn salad, regular salad and brownies.  On my plate was salad, fruit salad, a lot of buffalo chicken dip, a hot dog and half of a rib. I tried the penne alla vodka, but it was not made to how I usually like it, therefore I did not waste it...

Loyola FAC My Ritual At the Gym... The FAC Outside of the FAC. The Fitness and Aquatics Center located just up the road from Loyola University Maryland's campus is the fitness gym where students have access to workout. I try to go to the gym as frequently as possible when I am here. Although I do live off campus with a gym of my own here, it is not even as half as nice as Loyolas FAC.  More often than not I have the same routine at the gym each time I go. When I first get to the gym I run. I try to run at least three miles each time, give or take. Averaged out 10 times around the track is one mile, but I am not sure how accurate that is because my Apple Watch tries to tell me otherwise. While running I need to be listening to music or else I will not be able to finish my run. There was this one time that I got all the way to the gym, shortly realized I did not have my AirPods, so I walked myself back out and drove to get them at my apartment. I did this because I know myself ...

FINAL PROJECT: Wake Up and Lets Go...

Winthrop, MA What May Occur On a Day in My Summer Learn More About Winthrop When I wake up the first thing I do, if I do not have work, is figure out my day. Whether this may be going to the beach, going into the city, working out or all of the above I like to wake up early and get a move on.  Typically, my younger sister Emma and I will run to Deer Island. Deer Island is a Harbor-walk located at the furthest point in my town. It is technically located in my town, but many view it as the Boston Harbor. When enduring Deer Island it is a five mile pathway all along the ocean. When you go you will see many riding bikes, jogging, running, working out and even fishing. The hours are from sunrise to sunset and let me just tell you about the view...definitely something you want to experience in your lifetime. Emma and I will usually run there and either jog, run or walk around the pathway then run back home. It is a perfect start to my day, especially in the summer with the hot air and oc...

A Perfect Day in My Eyes

The Atlantic Ocean... My Ideal Day Over the Summer! A quick dip in the Atlantic.  A little jump from the boat, right into the ocean.  Evidently, I live in a beach town. Living in a beach town comes with boats. Lots and lots of boats. I am a big boater-girl and I love the Ocean. My favorite part about the summer is waking up to a text, whether it be a friend or a family member, asking to have a boat-day. In the hopes that I am not working on that specific day, my reply is absolutely!  My sister Abby and family-friend Annika.  My sister Emma with the Boston skyline in the back.  On this one specific Saturday in the summer it was a 90 degree day and the sun was beaming. My parents and family-friends decided to have a boat day with all of us. We took out our friends boat and had a nice relaxing day. There were three different families on the boat- My family, the Holgerson's and the Bertinos. It was the best day. We started off just cruising and throwing the a...
