My Ideal Day Over the Summer!


A quick dip in the Atlantic. 

A little jump from the boat, right into the ocean. 


Evidently, I live in a beach town. Living in a beach town comes with boats. Lots and lots of boats. I am a big boater-girl and I love the Ocean. My favorite part about the summer is waking up to a text, whether it be a friend or a family member, asking to have a boat-day. In the hopes that I am not working on that specific day, my reply is absolutely!

On this one specific Saturday in the summer it was a 90 degree day and the sun was beaming. My parents and family-friends decided to have a boat day with all of us. We took out our friends boat and had a nice relaxing day. There were three different families on the boat- My family, the Holgerson's and the Bertinos. It was the best day. We started off just cruising and throwing the anchor down to jump out and swim. After that we went on over to Hull, MA. Hull is just a quick boat ride from Winthrop where there is a restaurant that we always endure in called "Local 02045."

"Local 02045" has an amazing view with astonishing food. We got calamari, chicken wings, lobster rangoon, nachos and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. We ate those right up.

Nanny's House- Winthrop, MA Spring Semester, 2021 Easter Sunday, Pandemic Style, turns into Sunday Funday... This is my families first "normal" Easter in four years.  Three years ago, 2018, Easter Sunday was tough. My grandmother, dads mom, passed away. A Quick Trip Home- All For a Haircut...?

Boston, MA 2021 Spring Semester A 6 hour drive home on a Sunday, all so I could get my hair done... The final result.  Let me ask a few questions: do you love getting your hair done? Do you love the way it smells afterwards? Do you love the way it feels when your hair dresser is massaging your head in a peaceful and soothing way? But most importantly, do you only trust one specific person? If you answered yes to any of those questions then you're in the right spot.  I live right outside of Boston so my hair salon is located in one of Bostons outer cities: Brookline. The salon I go to is called 'Dellaria.' My whole life I have been going to a salon in my small town Winthrop, but this past summer my older sister, Abby, encouraged me to try this new salon out. One More Night at Home...

Foxborough, MA   2021 Spring Semester  A Scrumptious Dinner With my Roommate Before we Drove Back to Maryland! Entering: Foxborough, MA. 'Home of the Patriots.' One last night out for a nice dinner before road tripping back to Maryland won't hurt, would it? My roommate is from Norfolk, MA which is a small town right next to Foxborough, MA.  Foxborough, of course, is widely known for being the home field of the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Aside from the field, Gillette Stadium, also known as, Patriots Place- has an abundance of delicious restaurants and marvelous shops.  Patriots Place- Gillette Stadium.  Before getting to sleep early for a nice 6 1/2 hour drive back to school Melina and I decided to grab a quick meal at a restaurant called 'Six String.' I have never been before, but it was awesome. The vibes in there were awesome and the music being played aloud was even better.
