Made In Italy Restaurant  Spring Semester 2021 What 5 Things You Should Always Remember When Going to Dinner With Friends...  http://madeinitaly-venice.com/?page_id=10 1. Do Your Research!  The first thing I always do when enduring to a restaurant, especially one I have never been to before, is look through their photo gallery and stalk them on social media. I do this in order to catch a glimpse of what catches my eye first- whether it be the food, the drinks or even the atmosphere in which I will be eating. This is extremely important to me because, of course, why would I want to eat somewhere that doesn't look pleasing prior to my arrival? My brick-oven pizza.  Melina and I at the restaurant.   2. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures! Something I love more than anything is dressing up. I'm not sure why, but something about feeling like you can get all dolled-up feels magical to me. I rarely wear make up, I rarely get my hair all nice and pretty to go out... so when I ...

There's a First For Everything: Even Eggs...

The Kitchen 2021 Spring Semester The First Time I Cooked a Fried Egg...  Anyone who knows me, knows that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Whether it be pancakes, waffles, bacon, hash brows or just eggs- breakfast will always be my #1! I love waking up and being able to cook something small to fill me up for a while. The scent of breakfast is one that lives throughout the day... mmmm! I will never understand those people who skip breakfast...  Eggs are usually my go-to because, I mean, they're really easy to make. There are a variety of different ways in which one can cook an egg. Scrambled, fried, an omelet, hard-boiled... you name it and an egg can do that for you. That's why I decided I am going to try to chef up a new egg for myself. One that I've never made, but one that I have been dying to make.  So, one Tuesday morning before I began my classes for the day, I woke up and decided I didn't want my average scrambled eggs and bacon. I thought to myself ...

Foxborough, MA   2021 Spring Semester  A Scrumptious Dinner With my Roommate Before we Drove Back to Maryland! Entering: Foxborough, MA. 'Home of the Patriots.' One last night out for a nice dinner before road tripping back to Maryland won't hurt, would it? My roommate is from Norfolk, MA which is a small town right next to Foxborough, MA.  Foxborough, of course, is widely known for being the home field of the Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Aside from the field, Gillette Stadium, also known as, Patriots Place- has an abundance of delicious restaurants and marvelous shops.  Patriots Place- Gillette Stadium.  Before getting to sleep early for a nice 6 1/2 hour drive back to school Melina and I decided to grab a quick meal at a restaurant called 'Six String.' I have never been before, but it was awesome. The vibes in there were awesome and the music being played aloud was even better. Prior to COVID, this restaurant would have live bands come and preform each weeke...

A Night Out in the North End

Boston, MA- Historic North End  2021 Spring Semester  A Quick Bite to Eat in the North End with my Lovely Mom 'La Famiglia Giorgios'  What is a better way to end your '48 hour' excursion home than to make a trip into the city for dinner? ...I would say nothing! The North End is located in Boston and has a variety of restaurants to choose from when craving a nice Italian dinner... yummm! I actually work in the North End, in the summer, at a scrumptious restaurant called 'Bricco'... check them out:  https://bricco.com  !! They're a solid 10/10 in my opinion. Everyone raves about them. But tonight my dad was with work and my two sisters were obviously at college, so it was just my mom and I. We wanted to go somewhere we had never been before... we found the most wonderful place ever- "La  Famiglia Giorgio's." It was to DIE for!  If you're ever in Boston give them a ring and secure a spot!  https://www.lafamigliagiorgios.com The menu from outsi...

A Quick Trip Home- All For a Haircut...?

Boston, MA 2021 Spring Semester A 6 hour drive home on a Sunday, all so I could get my hair done... The final result.  Let me ask a few questions: do you love getting your hair done? Do you love the way it smells afterwards? Do you love the way it feels when your hair dresser is massaging your head in a peaceful and soothing way? But most importantly, do you only trust one specific person? If you answered yes to any of those questions then you're in the right spot.  I live right outside of Boston so my hair salon is located in one of Bostons outer cities: Brookline. The salon I go to is called 'Dellaria.' My whole life I have been going to a salon in my small town Winthrop, but this past summer my older sister, Abby, encouraged me to try this new salon out. I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair...I like to have my hair a specific length, specific color and specific style. Therefore, I was a little hesitant. But I decided, 'hey we're living in a pande...
