There's a First For Everything: Even Eggs...

The First Time I Cooked a Fried Egg...

Anyone who knows me, knows that breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Whether it be pancakes, waffles, bacon, hash brows or just eggs- breakfast will always be my #1! I love waking up and being able to cook something small to fill me up for a while. The scent of breakfast is one that lives throughout the day... mmmm! I will never understand those people who skip breakfast...

Eggs are usually my go-to because, I mean, they're really easy to make. There are a variety of different ways in which one can cook an egg. Scrambled, fried, an omelet, hard-boiled... you name it and an egg can do that for you. That's why I decided I am going to try to chef up a new egg for myself. One that I've never made, but one that I have been dying to make.

So, one Tuesday morning before I began my classes for the day, I woke up and decided I didn't want my average scrambled eggs and bacon. I thought to myself "I always see my sisters, friends and basically everyone eating a fried egg, lets try it out." So thats what I decided to do...

My Fried Egg.

I know I'm weird, but I have never actually tried a fried egg. I am a Plain-Jane. But, today I tried something new. I am beyond glad I did this because the taste of the runny yoke falling into my mouth tasted like Heaven. I was surprised at how scrumptious that egg was- well, was I really that surprised? No. You can never go wrong with an egg. And now I know, you can never go wrong with a Fried Egg.

This may look a little dull to some who are 'experts' but I will get there eventually. As time goes on I will perfect this fried egg.

The runny yoke.

I toasted a small piece of Italian bread, put one slice of white American cheese on top of that slice, and then plopped the fried egg right on top. Add a little bit of salt and boom we are golden!

Even just looking at this picture it must be making your mouth water...
