The 5 Do's of Going to Dinner...

What 5 Things You Should Always Remember When Going to Dinner With Friends...
1. Do Your Research!
The first thing I always do when enduring to a restaurant, especially one I have never been to before, is look through their photo gallery and stalk them on social media. I do this in order to catch a glimpse of what catches my eye first- whether it be the food, the drinks or even the atmosphere in which I will be eating. This is extremely important to me because, of course, why would I want to eat somewhere that doesn't look pleasing prior to my arrival?
2. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!
Something I love more than anything is dressing up. I'm not sure why, but something about feeling like you can get all dolled-up feels magical to me. I rarely wear make up, I rarely get my hair all nice and pretty to go out... so when I do, I get excited. I have a ginormous closet full of clothes that I rarely ever wear. Prior to COVID when I would go out I would never double-wear an outfit. What I mean by that is that I would feel inclined to never repeat an outfit I have worn before. I love all looks and my clothes range from sweatpants, a crop top and sneakers all the way to a cute dress with platforms. What you wear out really brings out the aesthetic you please at the restaurant of your choosing. Always take pictures, you are making memories that will last a lifetime...
3. Appetizers Are a Must...
C'mon, this rule must be embedded into everyone's heads by now. Appetizers are a must! Why go to a restaurant if you're not going to try the full experience? In my opinion, I didn't get a complete full experience of the restaurant if I didn't have a drink, an appetizer, an entree and dessert. Maybe thats just me, but if you ever want to go out to eat with me just know you will be sitting through the whole experience.
4. Check the Location...
Why go to a restaurant if the outside/area surrounding isn't beautiful? You don't want to wind up in some random area that you wish you never had went to, right? Well, thats why I always do my research and check the location of the restaurant of choice. I am a big beach-girl where, in my opinion, if there is a beach near by then the location is an automatic 10/10. More often than not, the restaurant matches the location... if the restaurant isn't in a so-to-say 'nice' area, what makes you think the restaurant will be tasty? I could be way off, but sometimes I correlate the outside areas to the inside areas. Always check the location prior to arrival.
5. Have Fun.
If this past year has taught me anything, it is to live in the moment. We truly never do know what may happen next. Life is so unpredictable. If living with no fear means to take a quick trip to FL with some friends, then so be it. Be spontaneous (with caution, of course!) I am in my 20's, the decade that is supposed to be 'the best years of my life' yet I am spending these years in a worldwide pandemic. Who would have thought? With that, I am no longer living with fear, I am no longer living with regret, and most of all I am living day-by-day to the fullest. If I can offer you any advice... that would be to do as you please and not care what others think. More often than not, someone is always going to be judging your actions, so why not make them what you love? Go do what you've been waiting to do...
