A Night Out in the North End

A Quick Bite to Eat in the North End with my Lovely Mom

'La Famiglia Giorgios'

What is a better way to end your '48 hour' excursion home than to make a trip into the city for dinner? ...I would say nothing! The North End is located in Boston and has a variety of restaurants to choose from when craving a nice Italian dinner... yummm! I actually work in the North End, in the summer, at a scrumptious restaurant called 'Bricco'... check them out: https://bricco.com !! They're a solid 10/10 in my opinion. Everyone raves about them. But tonight my dad was with work and my two sisters were obviously at college, so it was just my mom and I. We wanted to go somewhere we had never been before... we found the most wonderful place ever- "La Famiglia Giorgio's." It was to DIE for!

If you're ever in Boston give them a ring and secure a spot! https://www.lafamigliagiorgios.com

The menu from outside.

We got a charcuterie board for an appetizer- it was lovely. The cheeses alongside the prosciutto combined with the jam was so tasty that we had to order one to go just to bring home.

For dinner I got the meal that was called 'Little Al's Favorite.' What was in my dish was cut up chicken cutlet, broccoli tossed in a pink vodka sauce with homemade gnocchi. My mom got the 'Veal Parmigiana Combo.' This dish consisted of veal and eggplant lightly breaded and fried, melted mozzarella and Mariana sauce. Boy of boy were our meals good. We could barely even finish half- the portions are HUUGE! But even just writing this I can taste the food steaming in my mouth. This is a must-have!!

After we were all though with out meals my mom and I walked around and then hopped in the car and went on our way. I am beyond glad I got to experience this restaurant, especially with my mom. I have missed her a ton.
